Need Help With Affiliate Marketing?

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

Affiliate marketing is one of those areas that’s hard to get established in. Undoubtedly, the first few months are always the the most difficult for any newbie affiliate marketer. With the massive amounts of information and advice out there, it can be very difficult to know who’s legitimate and who’s real. With self described “gurus” out there desperate to help you, always for a fee, it’s not uncommon to feel somewhat lost in the massive world of affiliate marketing. However, it is possible to navigate your way through the uncertainty, and access a world of important, helpful information and powerful advice.

So, how should you check for what advice is useful? The greatest way to gauge how effective someones advice will be is to study the person that it’s coming from. There’s a general rule that states that you shouldn’t take advice from those who aren’t in a position that you aim to be in. This is especially true for affiliate marketing. With the number of desperate marketers that are eager to push their advice and products on you, reputation counts above everything else. Study who you’re getting advice from, and be sure to check what they’ve spent their time on and how it compares to the advice that they offer.

When you’re seeking advice and guidance in the online world, it can often be difficult to decide between advice that comes from a mentor and advice that comes from an eBook. While both offer a massive amount of information and guidance, you need to approach the two differently. Ebooks offer massive amounts of practical information, and are a mainstay for internet marketers looking to beef up their knowledge and online education. As the fundamentals of the online information economy, eBooks should be treated as the primary learning materials. Mentors aren’t around to answer easy questions, they’re around to clarify and guide you once you already have an understanding of the terrain. This free report goes into greater detail on the strategies that you need in order to maximise your internet marketing results.

How to Save 2 Months Of Struggling Online

Tuesday, June 9th, 2009

Want to make money online?

The next 2 minutes is going to save you 2 months.

You are not going to make money online by driving traffic to a sales page.**

Yes you did read that correctly.

You will however make money online by driving traffic to a squeeze page. And then developing a relationship with your email list.

What is a squeeze page?

A squeeze page is a web page that has only one purpose — to build your email list.

A squeeze page will have an opt in form on it — to allow your visitors to join your email list.

As an incentive for your visitor to sign up to your email list — you will offer a free gift that MUST BE OF VALUE.

In fact — I’d go as far to say — the product that you were thinking about selling — you may want to consider giving it away for free (if you have the rights to do this — or if it is your own product).

In return for this gift — your visitor will give you his email address.

Once you start building your email list — you begin a relationship with them.

Communicate with them — email them.

Dare I even suggest you TALK to your list if they ask (I am constantly told how amazing my list find it that I am prepared to pick up the phone and speak to them if they ask).

A relationship is a two way street - don’t be nervous about communicating.

Find out about your list. What do they want to know? What are their struggles? What are their fears? What are their problems?

Ever since the dawn of time — the individual who discovers someone’s need — and then provides a solution to this need — will do well.

So you now have a email list — albeit a small one. Rather than relentlessly trying to crow-bar out their credit card — instead nurture a relationship with them.

When I began I did not mail one offer to my list for almost 6 months. I spent the first 6 months building my list and nurturing a relationship with those on it.

Remember a website is not a business. There are millions of websites that don’t make any money. A product is not a business either. Anyone can get a product to sell.

What then is a business?

Customers. So look after ‘em.

(**I exaggerate slightly. Sure you may make a little money driving traffic to a sales page - but for longevity in this bizz - you will want to develop your own customer base.)

Where Do I Start - To Make Money?

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

I have received this question a few times now since my blog is expanding over time and it is “Where do I start to make money“. With all of the overload of information on the net, it seems everybody is getting confused. I have to admit at times I am overwhelmed also. I can only imagine how a beginner must be totally lost.

The first step I would recommend you take if you are a beginner is to get a free ebook Chris Farrell and I have to offer it is called “Create Your First Website By 3:45 This Afternoon“. The ebook will walk you through setting up your first website to make money. I will be placing this ebook on the sidebar on my blog for anyone who wants it, for now click on the link above.

The second step I would recommend is build a mailing list, you will need to have a website with a autoresponder form in place to collect names and email addresses. You can offer your subscribers a free ebook or a free report or a 30 Day Free Trial on a product you have such as I offer on my Trafficnaire Traffic System. Now, with your mailing list don’t try to sell them anything for 3 weeks to a month, just provide good information on your niche at first. I would recommend you check out Critical List Building it is a Free membership to learn more about list building to make money.

The third step is to drive targeted traffic to your website to build your mailing list. You can learn how to do this and get a Free 30 Day Trial from my Trafficnaire Traffic System.

Then after members have been on your mailing list for a month offer them your products such as RESELL RIGHTS CLUB has to offer for a very reasonable price or products that PLR EXPLOITATION suggests. You can also recommend affiliate products that are applicable to your niche.

The fourth step I would suggest you join a membership that will help you learn more and more about Internet Marketing such as SIMPLE CASH BLOG.

Those are the four steps that once you accomplish them will put money in your pockets.

Then just polish the steps until you have a consistent flow of cash and grow your list to increase your profits.

Let me know if this helped!
