Plan ahead and develop focused deliberate choices on how you will bring traffic to your offer.
Many of the traffic methods you know about or will learn about are cumulative in their effects. You won’t see significant results unless you repeat and build upon these methods.
An effective traffic plan includes short and long term strategies. You must see how the pieces fit together and then build on each one.
Checklist to build a plan:
- Top three FREE traffic methods you want to use.
- Top Paid traffic method to use.
- How much time to devote to traffic generation each day.
- How much money to spend each day for paid traffic.
Free traffic methods can include forums, articles, classified ads, viral reports.
Paid traffic methods can include ezine ads, solo ads, pay per click, banner ads.
Time to devote to traffic generation should be at least eight hours per week.
How much money to spend will depend on your budget. If zero then you must do more free advertising to bring in sufficient traffic.
The key is to choose at least three to four methods that you can implement as soon as possible and arrange their execution to generate traffic.
Create a traffic plan that caters to your skills, available time and resources. What is meant by the previous statement is if you are good at writing - then write reports and articles, if you are good at communicating - then answer questions in the forums, if you are a good speaker - then set up teleseminars or podcasts.
